Key Features
- Depth, speed and temperature transducer
- Compatible hull material: aluminium and
fiberglass
- Hole diameter for installation: 2"
Operates at 235kHz so there is no
interference with your 50/200 kHz fishfinder transducer.
Airmar's Smart™ Sensors have embedded microelectronics, meaning the signal is
processed from within the transducer itself, eliminating the need for an ST70
transducer pod or ITC-5.
Compatibility and connectivity
Transducers are compatible with:
- ST40/ST60/i40/i50 on SeaTalk1 and i50 on STng -
operate as repeaters only (can't calibrate from these instruments) Note: a
SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter may be required
- ST70, ST70+ and i70 on the SeaTalkng
network are required for calibration
SeaTalk1
The transducers above may be used with ST40, i40, i50 and ST60+ displays (as
repeaters only) on the SeaTalk1 network via a SeaTalk to
SeaTalkng convertor (right).
Please note that ST40/i40/i50 and ST60+ displays will only work as repeaters
if used with the above transducers. You cannot calibrate the transducers from
these instruments. For calibration you would require a following SeaTalkng
instrument: ST70, ST70+ or i70 display in your network.
If you don't have an ST70/ST70+ or i70 in your system, then we advise you use
an analogue Transducer in one of the following Tabs:
- Depth
- Depth, Speed, Temperature
- Speed, Temperature
- Other Transducers
SeaTalkng
The transducers above may be used with the ST70, ST70+ and i70 on the SeaTalkng
network. The transducer connects directly to the backbone - no pod or iTC-5 is
required.
