March
Pump’s industrial LC-3M-MD is an American submersible seal-less centrifugal
magnetic drive marine pump. It is capable of generating a maximum flow of 8.5
gallons per minute at 4 feet, and its maximum head is 19 Feet (8PSI). The
LC-3M-MD pump may be used submerged or not submerged. The pump is Ignition
Protected per SAE J1171 and ISO 8846, and has extended run dry protection thru
the use of a carbon bushing. It is capable of 24,000 BTU a hour.

submerged. The standard wet end (the materials that come into contact with the
solution) is composed of Polypropylene, Buna N, Cupric Nickel, Carbon, Ceramic,
and Ceramic Magnet. When submerged, Epoxy, Stainless Steel, Polysulfone, and
the Cord are also in contact with the solution. The inlet connection is 3/4 inch
female pipe thread, and the outlet is 1/2 inch male pipe thread. The standard
motor is a 1 Phase 115V or 230V 0.05 Horsepower motor, which can be run on
either 50 or 60 hertz (there are performance differences between the hertz
options). The maximum internal pressure the pump can tolerate is 25PSI, and the
maximum liquid temperature is 130 Fahrenheit or 54 Celsius.
The pump is Ignition Protected per SAE J1171 and ISO 8846. The impeller has a
carbon bushing allowing the pump to run dry longer before suffering damage.
