Comnav Remote Control 201 For 1001, 1101, 1201, 2001, 500, 20310013
The 201 Remote Control with Tiller, is designed for use with the ComNav
Marine 1001, 1101, 1201, 2001 and 5001 Autopilots. The 201 allows the vessel
operator to control the tiller steering and autopilot course functions of the
ComNav Autopilot from a work station or flying bridge.
Taking command away from the autopilot to the 201 remote is easily done by
holding the red and green course change buttons simultaneously for 2 to 3
seconds. The 201 remote has 3 modes: Standby, Tiller and Pilot. The standby mode
is a safety feature that allows the remote station to deactivate the autopilot
output to the steering drive unit and revert to manual steering. In the tiller
mode, the vessel's rudder directly follows the position of the 201 remote lever.
