i70s instruments are the perfect complement to the new E7 series multifunction
displays. Both products are built according to the design philosophy of packing
the maximum screen size into the smallest possible cabinet. The ultra-sleek i70s instruments feature a clean, modern look that looks great on today?s luxury sail
and power vessels. i70s instruments also look great alongside the new p70 and
p70R Autopilot controllers with pushbutton or rotary-knob inputs.
In addition to the traditional depth, speed, wind and compass displays, i70s can
repeat hundreds of different pieces of data from devices like GPS receivers,
navigation systems, weather stations, engines, tank level monitoring systems and
much, much more. i70?s AIS repeater display works with NMEA2000 compatible
Automatic Identification System receivers to display a graphical plot of the 25
closest AIS targets, with easy access to each target?s expanded information.
i70s instruments include easy-to-manage data source selection. This is great for the
captain who wants to benefit from redundant data sources for critical items like
GPS position source or water depth.
i70s Instruments use Raymarine?s exclusive SeaTalk NG networking for simple
installation and integration with other onboard systems. The simplified network
architecture provides hassle-free installation, rugged reliability and easy
integration with 3rd party NMEA2000 devices
Raymarine ITC-5 Analog to Digital Transducer Converter
The iTC5 Instrument Transducer Converter enables the use of common analog
transducer signals with new digital instrument displays like Raymarine?s i70s and
ST70 Plus. The ultra-compact iTC5 has connections to host the five most common
analog transducers; depth, speed/temperature, wind, compass and rudder. The
iTC5 instantly converts these 5 analog signals to digital SeaTalkng
protocol.
In addition to providing analog-to-digital conversion, the iTC5 provides all
of the necessary power and communications connections to the transducers. This
greatly simplifies the installation of new systems, and also provides a simple
and cost-effective means for owners of older analog instrument displays to
upgrade to the latest digital display technology. The iTC5 eliminates the need
for expensive ?smart? transducers or individual instrument pods. Complete
control for calibration and alarms is performed through the i70s or ST70 Plus
instruments.
The iTC5 connects to Raymarine?s SeaTalkng
network and works with most analog transducers from legacy Raymarine ST30, ST40,
ST50, ST60, ST80 and ST290 series instruments. Additionally the iTC5 works with
Raymarine fluxgate compass modules as well as rotary and linear rudder feedback
transducers to support compass heading and rudder angle instruments.

The Raymarine iTC-5 converts analogue transducer signals used in i70, ST70+
and ST70 instrument systems to SeaTalkng.

Transducers for Speed/Temperature, Depth, Wind, Rudder Angle and
Fluxgate Compass can be connected to the one iTC-5 unit, eliminating the
need for multiple ST70 pods.
Extended STng systems can support
multiple iTC-5 units.
SeaTalkng connections at the base of
the unit simply connect the iTC-5 unit into the SeaTalkng
backbone.
Please note the ST40/i40/i50/i60 and ST60+ displays cannot calibrate the
iTC-5. Only the i70s has full transducer calibration. The ST70/ST70+ can
calibrate the Depth, Wind and Speed/Temp transducers (not Rudder or
Compass).
If you don't have an ST70/ST70+ or i70s in your system, then the
ST40/i40/i50/i60/ST60+ displays must be interfaced directly to the relevant
analogue transducers |
